Could you provide some more information please, like what OS, what commands did you execute, what directory are you trying to install the module to, what are the exact error messages (preferably in <code> tags), and so on.

The CPAN Testers results for IO::Stty look good, so there isn't really much to go on. See also How do I post a question effectively? and I know what I mean. Why don't you?
