Hello
I am trying to install DBD::Oracle module on my Mac OS but I am not having any success with it.
After I download the DBD-Oracle-1.74 package and try to run Perl MakeFile.pl , I get the following error messages
Trying to find an ORACLE_HOME
Your DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH env var is set to ' '
So what is it exactly that I would need to set ?
I did try to set the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH variable to the path of my instantclient directory as shown below , but that did not help
export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH='/Users/punitpawar/instantclient_11_2_4'
It gives me the following error message
Trying to find an ORACLE_HOME
Your DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH env var is set to ''
I then tried to set my ORACLE_HOME = '/Users/punitpawar/instantclient_11_2_4' , but this did not help either . It gave me the following error
The ORACLE_HOME environment variable value is not valid
