No one was complaining about XP. Someone -- me -- was inquiring why that meaningless number was so different from a count of votes casts on my posts.

The answer, once stripped of the unnecessary wrappings, is: because that's the way the system was miscoded; and there's nothing to be done about it now.

You turning up and posting your misunderstanding, just to say who cares; says one thng. YOU cared enough to post on the subject. Why? For the XP?
