I have at last written something I feel is suitable for CPAN. It is a parser I wrote as a result of help I got here in reply to [Solved] Testing generated HTML and problems I had subsequently. It is at http://search.cpan.org/~davies/XML-Lenient-1.0.0/lib/XML/Lenient.pm. I'd be interested in any comments about both the code and the documentation, however brutal. While I feel this is fit for human consumption, I'm still trying to learn.
