Ahh... memories.... I still remember the time perl4 was a wee executable...

Seventeen years in this prison... no way to escape... cleaning the floor, feeding the trolls (you don't want them to starve, do you?), making the beer to keep grammar nazi's happy enough that they forget "require strict;"

Can't find a way to jump to Perl 7. I did it in the past, you know... jumping from 5.005_63 to 5.5.640. The gates of the monastery were already build back then. However, the garden and some of the housing was not there yet. And the cellar was tiny.... it is now a giant catacomb. You can get lost there and never come back... thank God for the SuperSearch.... at least you can navigate it.

give me that bottle... let me drink away my sorrow!
