Here is an interesting question (I think), although it may demonstrate a fundamental lack of understanding of the unix/linux eviornment. Is it possible to change user id mid-script? That is to say can i perform one operation as one user, then somehow log in as another and perform the next operation? If so how? Note: neither user is root, both users have r-- permissions to each others files, both passwords are known.
