As the title says, my problem is that File::Find won't iterate through CIFS share withouth "dont_use_nlink". Of course I can simply set it to 1, and it works. The problem is that the documentations states that it makes things slower, and performance is absolutely critical for me. It also states that this option should rarely be used. Any chance that I'm doing anything wrong, or is this by design?
"This is perl 5, version 16, subversion 3 (v5.16.3) built for x86_64-linux-thread-multi"
File::Find version is 1.34 (latest)
OS is CentOS 7.3.1611 (Core)
The share was mounted using a command line like this one:
mount -t cifs -o username=<share user>,password=<share password>,domain=example.com //WIN_PC_IP/<share name> /mnt
