Interesting, I've always used POSIX::mktime to convert a localtime array back into a timestamp. Does anyone else have a preference or rationale why one might be used over the other?

print Time::Local::timelocal(@localtimearr), "\n";
print POSIX::mktime(@localtimearr), "\n";
