I don't don't know which directory List::Util was installed into.

At the shell prompt:

$ locate List/Util.pm
/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/List/Util.pm
$

[download]

You should expect to have at least 2 entries - one being the system version and one being your manually installed version.
