The example code at the start of Perlito5 POD doesn't compile for me. The perlito5 script that's installed doesn't run

These issues, in themselves alone, would constitute bugs that should be reported.
I couldn't quickly spot any mention of these bugs in either the 5 open issues or the 38 closed issues.

I think you should report it as a new issue.
