I have a problem I need to solve, guess what it is? is a poor strategy when asking for help. Essentially, provide enough details to describe the task at hand, including relevant infrastructure details. "similar to" and "I would guess" aren't conducive to achieving your goal. The easier you make it for people to help you, the better the responses, generally speaking.
