How do you get such big hashes in the first place? Searching for duplicates shouldn't be much longer than building the hashes (unless done horribly wrong), so if you can build the hashes in a matter of minutes, finding the triplets should also take more minutes, not years. Maybe you are actually using tied hashes of some sort, like a database?
