• IO::All is sliced bread by DrWhy (2006)
• Why not recommend IO::All? by karlgoethebier (2015) - karl is the author of 28 IO::All-related nodes

• What modules should be added to the corelist? by anonymonk (2019) - if I could get one module into core it would be the magnificent IO::All (Devel::NYTProf also gets an honourable mention)
• Re^4: What modules should be added to the corelist? by Corion (2019) - To expect that such modules would be maintained by the Perl maintainers is too much. IO::All is a horrible idea that opens up the locker of footguns that PHP closed a long time ago, by allowing open("http://..."). It would be a very bad idea to include it in the Perl core ... also look at Python, whose Batteries Are Leaking ...

• On Interfaces and APIs - IO::All is an example of a S.A.T.-esque module that achieves a lot with very little interface (also noted here)
