Well, first strange thing I noticed in your code is:
this is your print line:

and this is one of your sample results:

Well, it doesn't make sense. There is the
---remote host---- in your sample result that shouldn't be there, unless it comes from the
$RMIP ...
One thing you should try is to make things simple so you can be sure that the problem is with the variable. Have you tried to print only
$RMIP to the file?
