So... in my latest discussion about the title, the title changed back, and thus made my post confusing to people who hadn't noticed the title change... VSarkiss pointed this out to me and suggested I edit the post, however, it being the base node of a discussion, I could not edit it. Nor would responding to it have made much of a difference since the response would have been so far down.

Now... it seems to me that there should be some way to edit these nodes. I understand wanting to maintain the root of the thread so that the branches make sense for posterity's sake, but sometimes an update is in order. Maybe having an update option, where you are allowed to tack something on to the end, but not actually edit the original message. Or allow changes but provide a link to the original. Something that allows for updates, but still maintains the integrity of the message.

It is just a thought, but it might be a good one :)
