Actually it was your communication skills, and your enthusiasm in respect to discussing communicating your thoughts about perl that made you come to mind. Frankly an article along the very line that you/TheDamian are/were talking was precisely what I had in mind.

To repeat: Communication Skills and Enthusiasm seem to be more relevant for this than godlike perl skills. The magazine is aimed at students after all.

Which is not to imply that TheDamian does not have godlike perl skills of course... :-)
