I think the dinosaur (it's not a very fearsome one, is it?) may be an allusion to the old cartoon which shows a T. Rex with a midrange sort of box in its claws.

The caption reads:
Mainframes! We're back, and we're pissed!
or words to that effect.

Well it made us m/frame jockeys feel a bit better 8-)
