Happy New Year

Well, it's a new year, and if I did this right, it's the first post of 2K2. If it's not, well, it's not.

So, I'd just like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2002, with good health, secure jobs (or finding one, if you're in the unemployed dataset), and continued growth. May your family be well, your home happy, and life in general copacetic.

Update: Check the posting time. Pure luck.

Hopefully, the events of 2001/12/30 are not a portent of things to come. My dog, Sunshine, is back in the hospital, with an apparent failed pacemaker (installed about Thanksgiving, 1998). We're now waiting for the Medtronics people to get in touch, and run some diagnostics. Hopefully, a full reset, or a new pacemaker unit will be all that's required.
