chromatic brings up a few interesting points. I really see no reason there isn't a request-a-cpan-id@perl.org, as opposed to directing everything to modules@perl.org ... anyway, It's almost been a week (it will be in about 2 hours) since I made my request. I am still waiting.

The faq to allow "three weeks for processing".

I see no problem with the wait.

update:
Made request on:

Time two seconds ago:
      Wed Jan 23 19:29:49 2002 -0800 (PST)
I'm still waiting ;)

UPDATE Jan 25, 2002 at 20:20
Sometime this morning I got my cpanid. I am PODMASTER ;)

So lemme see if I can add, 25 - 9 = 16, and 3 * 7 = 21, I'd say pretty good time ;)
