I'm trying to compile perl on AIX 4.2.1 using IBM's compiler and get the error below. I believe these functions are in fact in libm.a which is of course in the usual library directories, hence I don't think it is an AIX/IBM cc problem per se.

I know this isn't strictly a perl problem, but if anyone has been in this particular endless loop, I would really appreciate a way out.....
