apacheweek has started a new mini-series of columns on perl and mod_perl. It appears to be a introductory tutorial that focuses on 5.6.x.

If you have been looking to switch to mod_perl this looks like great starting point. The first (an only column so far) does not go into the detail of using mod_perl, it focuses on the issues you will need to be aware of before you switch (scoping, globals, compiled regex's, and refs).


apacheweek IMHO has always put out excellent articles so I will watching this column with <tim_curry>antici... pation</tim_curry>
