What's wrong with using your scratchpad for this? I know a lot of monks already keep commonly referenced stuff that they don't want displayed on their homenode there. A separate section doesn't seem necessary, and IMHO definately shouldn't take priority over fixing/removing Perl News (newsfeed from use.perl.org hint hint ;) or other commonly brought up issues.
