A)I posted this once before somewhat
B) im not sure how specific i was when i first posted it
C) the other one degenerated into a flame fest. i got flamed, i retaliated, it went down from there. Lets try to avoid that shall we?
I have 2 absolute dates, from seconds to the year. I would like to be able to get a relative difference between the two, something like "5 seconds between them". I looked at all the date modules on cpan, including Date::manip and Class::Date; but every time i subtracted the dates i ended up with a number of seconds, and when i tried to translate that into a date i just got '1970 0/0/0' etc. Can anyone suggest a specific function or step by step list of instructions, or point me to a guide, note the module used cannot be compiled. Much thanks in advance.
