It would be helpful to have an option on the main search so that it can list only the starting post of threads. Currently we get back the question and all the replies too; it's hard to pick out which ones are wanted. If I can't see the first post in the search results, the quickest way to get to the start of the thread is to click on one of the replies, and then on the "in thread foo" link on the page that loads.
