kudra I would recommend MySQL for the windows environment. I have several heavy duty applications running that have to support Windows and Linux. I write all my scripts to use either MySQL or Postgresql depending on the server. www.mysql.org Several good books exist for Perl and MySQL as well Good Luck stolionly
