Well, let's see... I am Canadian, so right there that states that more money is required... Here would be my costs (in Canadian $$):
  1. Round-trip airfare: $597.82
  2. Cost for the actual conference: $130.16
  3. Cost for single dorm room: $76.56
Now, this is only for the basics! This does not include money for food, spending money, etc. What is the grand total? $804.54. Okay, not TOO bad, but throw food and extras on there and I would need at least $1000. I have in the bank... $280. Maybe my boss would let me have an advanced paycheck... Considering the simple fact that I work at McDonald's, I will say that is not likely!

So I suppose my answer is "No, I cannot attend because I do not have a car and I am too poor at the moment".

(P.S.: I could maybe find cheaper air fares. This is just a quick check I did on Yahoo! Travel)
