I was wondering if anyone knew if the 'system' command can cascade. I have one script that calls a number of programmes using 'system'. I then have a second script (a CGI script) that calls the first script using a 'system' command. The script is definitely being called correctly as an output is given, however the output is limited only to the results not involving the programmes the first script calls. If i run the first script seperately the full set of results is given. It seems to me that the program is falling over when it attempts to call one program through 'system' if it itself is being run through 'system'. Any ideas. If this is the case how can i get around it as i cant paste the first script into the CGI script as other programmes are also being run through the CGI script. Cheers
