First let me say many thanks for the fabulous help that I always find here! I'm truely not worthy...
I am knee deep in about 7k lines of CGI scripting code...sub programs that loop throughout admin and user interfaces....yada yada. Now I'm to the point where it's time to require logging in and checking passwords. I've got the login and password routines complete..and am trying to set a )(*&^(*&(* Cookie that records the users logon name and sets an expiration date but I can't get the FLIPPING cookie to set!

I suspect it is the timing of the write...the intro script loops back into it's self multiple times and I have a generic print headers sub that prints them when needed. My question is...is there a simple way to clear the headers if they've already been set?

I've tried doing a java script that writes the cookie when it opens a new window but it hangs once it's open.... I am hoping someone here can feel my pain and help me out...
