From the description of your error, and since there is no such thing as an "uninitialized" variable..if it's delcared correctly in perl, I'd ahve to say you're getting an out of bounds array type error. If there is some point of this code that is trying to access an array index that has not been pushed a value..then THAT would be considered Uninitialized...or that is what logic tells me...
