It's not intended to be used outside of your homenode (if you don't care to "reveal" your location, you might wanna reveal your timezone, which narrows it down from earth).

The Tick tock nodelet reflects the server time, so you have some idea of when nodes were created.

Yes, others have noticed this.

There is nothing to fix, since nothing is broken.

Where did you get the idea the timezone setting would have that kind of effect?
