\sbs\v5\strans.cxx@@\main\den\cour\LATEST 
\sbs\v5\c\ans.h@@\main\den\3

what I want to do is first greping for the target , then grep for the paths end with LATEST, once I find them which they are : 
 \sbs\v5\strans.cxx@@\main\den\cour\LATEST 
 \sbs\v5\strans.cxx@@\main\den\courrrr\LATEST

what I want to do this for each path I will have a cleaner path for example the first one : 
\sbs\v5\strans.cxx@@\main\den\cour\LATEST

I want to get rid of the cour part and have it as this 
\sbs\v5\strans.cxx@@\main\den\LATEST

but at the same time make sure the target that I greped for at the top is the parent of the cour. thanks for hints and ideas.
