i have a little problem or no its rather a wandering is there a way to do something like this in perl:

  • i am a normal user
  • su to root
  • do the stuff i need to be root to
  • switch back

    it clear that something like 

    my $rootID = getpwnam("root");

$< = $rootID;
$> = $<;

    [download]
    wont work ... so if anyone knows a way to do so ....
