When I try to install modules using CPAN.pm, it ends up with something like this
GZIP: stdin: invalid compressed data--crc error
CPAN-1.62/
CPAN-1.62/t/
CPAN-1.62/t/vcmp.t
/usr/bin/TAR: Skipping to next header
/usr/bin/TAR: Error exit delayed from previous errors
Removing previously used C:\perl\cpan\build\CPAN-1.62
Package seems to come without Makefile.PL.
(The test -f "C:\perl\cpan\build\CPAN-1.62\Makefile.PL" returned fal
+se.)
Writing one on our own (setting NAME to unknown)
Added to MANIFEST: MANIFEST
Added to MANIFEST: Makefile.PL
Added to MANIFEST: t/vcmp.t
Couldn't find a Bundle file in C:\perl\cpan\build\CPAN-1.62 at C:/perl
+/lib/CPAN.pm line 2018
It looks like the .tar.gz is corrupted but when I open it manually, it's fine. Can anyone help with this?
