Does anyone know if there is a way to totally spoof an email through sendmail? I am trying to make an anonymailer where it is totally anonymous. Right now it is setup $spoof = ' @ '; and it makes it so no names popup in the FROM box of your email. But if you view all headers it will say name@myserver.com. I was told by someone earlier that if you do totally spoof it some servers might not allow it to be mailed and it will just be lost. Does anyone know of a way I can predefine the server it is sending from? I mean where I can set it up to look like it is coming from any IP or server I want?

Please note this isn't going to be used illegaly or anything, I just find this an interesting topic and there are NO resources on the net about it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
