Hey guys , I have this code:
foreach my $PDL (split/\s+/,`ls *.pdl | tr '.' ' ' | gawk '{print $1}'
+`){
print "$PDL\n";
if (( ! -f "$PDL.cxx") or ( -M "$PDL.pdl" < -M "$PDL.cxx" ))
{
print " Generating $PDL ........... \n";
system("C:/Perl/noipgen.exe", "$PDL.pdl");
}
I don't understand why the " gawk " is not working , I get the hole line printed and not the $1 value , however , if I do that in the command line , it works fine , but within the script naaaaa!!!!
