Thanks for the great review, TStanley! I'd like to add a couple things:

• Ignore the reference to a CPAN CD on BN.com's table of contents. I've been trying to get that fixed for weeks with no luck. The CPAN CD was canceled due to legal and pricing concerns near the end of the project.
• Visit the APress page for the book to see the real table of contents and read the first chapter for free.
