Once upon a time, years and years ago, I met someone on a BBS. We began chatting, and as time passed we became good friends. She didn't live far, and eventually we met. Our friendship grew. She was assigned to write a story for a class once, and she wrote me as the main character. She called him Kelan, and that's what she's called me ever since. And I've used it for just about every username I've had since then.

PS. It's pronounced kay-lin.
