My 500th post. Probably should do something special but not feeling very profound or productive. It seems like so long ago that I wrote my first post. Hopefully there's been more signal than noise.

Just want to say thanks to everyone who has helped me or taught me something new. (There have been many!)

On another note, oddly enough when trying to title this 500th post, I can't. It kept bouncing me to jeffa's 500th post. Is this a feature to keep down on duplicate titles? If so, there should be an error message. I could see losing a post to the bit-bucket if you weren't careful.
