A lot of questions better suited for Seekers of Perl Wisdom get posted to Categorized Questions and Answers (Q&A), quite often by newcomers who may not, at first glance, understand the difference. As things are structured, it's beyond the power of mortal editors to clean up these mistakes by reclaiming such posts.

So I wonder: What if it wasn't possible to post directly to Q&A? Instead, the Q&A keepers would select from whatever SoPW questions and answers struck them as being worthy of elevating to Q&A. No more errant posts, and the quality of stuff in Q&A might go up a notch.
