Two quick things (I think):

wrapping : I'm not sure of what the current settings (or reasons for them) are; however, I find that there are several pages which require me to scroll far, far, far to the right just to read a line of normal text. (This was in some manual, I believe).

In general, I think the horizontal control on PM needs to be taken care of simply for ease of use.

search: here I would make a suggestion from E2 and that when someone does a search that instead of having the searched text remain in the search window, the text of the previous node will be replaced there, allowing for much easier navigation. (I realize one could use the backbutton....non-elegant.) Furthermore, it might lead to a possible use of soft links which I don't see as a half bad thing.
