Hi ppl, I got a couple of questions here regarding PERL, I am newbie of the PERL course and I really want to learn this language. Uhm can someone help me on my research 1st about this programming language?
Heres my prepared outline...
I. Rationale and History
Why was the language developed? What concerns/problems is it supposed to address? How did the language evolve?
II. Evolution
What is the current status of the PERL?
III. Classification and Programming Paradigm
What are the strengths & weaknesses of the language? What are the characteristics of the applications that can be developed in PERL language?
IV. Interfaces
Are there any language/interfaces extensions on PERL? Are there any interface between PERL and other languages? What are the disadvantages of the libraries, packages, and used of the language?
