I have been around Perlmonks for 7 months now, but one aspect that mysifies me is the voting booth. I have a few ideas for polls that might be of general interest - how do I go about suggesting one?

I have hunted through the sitedocs and super search in vain (apologies if the answer is there). Is there a pollmeister, in the manner that jcwren is our statsmeister? Is there a person or a group whom one can /msg to suggest a poll? Or is it just a matter of posting an item to monkdiscuss and waiting for one of the gods to make it into a poll?

What's the protocol? Is it a matter of setting the HTML radio buttons up on one's scratchpad and /msging the right person?

I think that more polls would be useful - obviously submissions would need to be moderated to remove any silly and trollish entries.

Any thoughts?
