As suggested by tye in response to my query on monk polls here, I am proposing the following poll:

When it comes to installing modules on CPAN...

• I use the CPAN.pm installer shell.
• I use CPANPLUS.
• I don't use CPAN, but use Activestate ppm instead.
• I download the tarball, build and install it with make.
• I copy all the .pm files into the right directories to install.
• I do not need to use external modules. All my code is self contained.
• My employer/ISP is reluctant to install modules I request, and I am not allowed to install them myself.
