I realized that I haven't done a very good job of publicizing the Perl Apprentice site at http://apprentice.perl.org
The goal of this site is twofold. First, It's nice to have a record of _active_ Perl projects (looking on SourceForge shows lots of Perl, but many are defunct, like a few of mine ;). Second, and most importantly, it is designed to bring together Perl folks in mentor/apprentice relationships.
Projects can be posted from either the point of view of a mentor looking for help on an existing project, or an apprentice with an idea who is not sure how to implement it and wants some help with that idea.
So please go check the site out and post your projects (assuming you actually do want more helping hands/teaching).
Posts are HTML formatted. Put <p> </p> tags around your paragraphs. Put <code> </code> tags around your code and data!
Titles consisting of a single word are discouraged, and in most cases are disallowed outright.
Read Where should I post X? if you're not absolutely sure you're posting in the right place.
Please read these before you post! —
