Fellow monks, I am asking myself a stupid question: how will my script behave in a multi-processor environement( linux) ? Has it an impact on performance ? I believe webservers benefit greatly from MProc. but how much can a perl script benefit from it ? what is required in order to make a program benefit from 2 proc?
