Hello Mr.Schwartz,
Help means something different to everyone. I visit perl forums in hopes
that someday I will be able to help others with understanding and possibly
solving a problem with a script.
Understanding that you are person who gives of your own time and talent to
promote your love of perl. I am not sure what your intent was with your
reply.
I believe that by indicating I am still new to perl that the question of
authorship has previously been addressed. As far as contacting the author
the answer is no, if I am successful in any modifications to the script I
would contact the author.
I am trying to modify the script for a non-profit organization - they can't
afford a paid programmer - 100% of the work that I do is donated.
It maybe difficult for you to remember back to a time that you needed some help not just with perl but anything.
If you were offering help please continue reading.
Thank You
Cal
