I've whipped up a OO system, and I have a way for the user to provide callbacks (many different ways, but anyway...). What parameters, and in what order, are the most convenient for users?

I've written an app using my toolkit, and at the moment, the order is:

• The value the user entered for this object
• A reference to the object that the callback belongs to
• A reference to the top of the object tree
• A reference to a hash of all the name=>value pairs for all the objects that have had parameters altered (so the user can spy on other objects).

Can anyone suggest things that I'm missing, or what would be more convenient?
