I was wondering about the amount of time the perl interpreter takes to execute the following code, versus not using strict at all: 
use strict;
...
my $func_name = "blah";

no strict 'refs';
&$func_name(...);
use strict;
...

Basically, I want to use strict for the most part, but when i need an indirect function call, i use the above to keep strict happy. My worry is that i don't know how much process time it will take to repeatedly turn strict off and on.
This could happen millions of times in certain scripts.
