It can take strength of character to publicly admit specific wrongs and to ask forgiveness. By voting him back up towards zero XP, fellow Monks are encouraging 143s to live up to his promise "to 'fit in' and contribute in a positive manner."

Which, of course, shows good character on the part of PMers.

hmmm... note to self - msg zdog and ask if this principle, and humor, warrant mention in Voting Guidelines ?
