Every month I wait impatiently for the latest issue of SysAdmin magazine to hit my mailbox. The August issue just arrived tonight, and it includes merlyn's Perl Advisor column titled "Taint so Easy, Is It?". I really benefit from his examples with good explanations, especially in light of recent (good) threads at PM on same topic.

Unfortunately, it's not viewable at SysAdmin's web site. But if you go to http://www.sysadminmag.com/service/ you can buy a CD of the past 8 years' issues, or subscribe to the hardcopy rag. The CD should include at least 3 of his writeups in 1999 but not his 4 thus far in 2000.

p.s. I don't work for SysAdmin, and I get no kickback from merlyn for writing this :^P

hope he doesn't mind...
    cheers,
